Crafting Hope: LoveXpress and Point of AC's Vision for Change

Imagine a world where a youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) isn’t told that they’re “weird” at work. Where a parent hears, “your child belongs here.” That’s the world LoveXpress is fighting for. Their mission is profound in its simplicity: to provide unwavering love, support, and opportunity to families with ASD. With career guidance, counselling, and advocacy, they don’t just offer help – they offer hope.

Open Mind. Open Heart. Open Will.

These principles have guided LoveXpress for years. Change doesn’t just happen over time. It requires the right mindset, relentless effort, and courage. LoveXpress sees the struggles of youths with ASD. Its founder, Kitty, recognizes their untapped potential. Families often feel turned away at the doorstep, but LoveXpress is committed to giving them a voice. Families receive guidance on how to communicate with their children. Youths experience work in a safe environment instead of an uncaring workplace. The community gains attention from the busy people of Hong Kong.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. LoveXpress uses love and compassion to build an ecosystem where individuality is encouraged. Differences are celebrated, not abandoned. Yet, Kitty knew LoveXpress could go further. To reach new heights, they had to let go. This wasn’t a risk; it was a necessity to scale their mission.

Point of AC met LoveXpress in 2022. We believe this was not by chance. We were also in search of a deeper purpose, and LoveXpress welcomed us with open arms. We met the youths and families in person. We spoke to them, laughed with them, and felt the love between them. We decided to grow alongside them. Their mission became our mission.

Our Role as Storytellers

We strive to do what we do best: craft a unique story that advocates the brand's vision. We are the storytellers. First, we had to break down the existing story into chapters, prose, and words. Then, we reconstructed a more powerful version, one that offers an unseen perspective to the world.

Disassembling a well-established organization was grueling, but necessary. We rebranded not only LoveXpress but also its sub-affiliates. We felt like we had to start from step zero. There were moments of uncertainty, trial and error, and questions of “are we doing this right?” But what Point of AC learned from LoveXpress is their courage to dream big, no matter how crazy it may sound. As long as there is a heart to serve those in need, the path will follow.

Together, we worked with LoveXpress to establish T.E.P. Ready-to-Cook, a frozen food line that supports the café social enterprise. This initiative creates another source of revenue to support the youths and generate more job opportunities.

We also took the lead in creating a gamified platform called UpCareer. This platform helps youths identify the most suitable career paths, preventing them from going astray. We amplified their stories, witnessing how they reached beyond Hong Kong into the Bay Area, inspiring change across borders.

All of these started as seemingly impossible, out-of-the-box ideas. Yet, they came to fruition after relentless will and collective action. None of this would be possible if LoveXpress didn’t have the courage to let go and build something new.

Embracing the Journey Ahead

You may not always get a step-by-step roadmap, but you leap anyway. We are ready to climb higher, even if it means disassembling again. We have experience to lean on, and we are confident that we can soon reach the stars.

This is our pledge: Point of AC and LoveXpress will keep pushing forward together. A better world isn’t built by chance. It’s built by us. By the dreammakers who step over fear to welcome change.

The future is brighter because we’re shaping it. With you beside us, we’re just getting started.
